So what is Saladbox?
Saladbox is not a salad of greens (as I initially thought), but rather a salad–an assorted mixture of beauty, grooming, and lifestyle products. Saladbox is a discovery retail service that gives you a monthly subscription box of samples to try out, delivered straight to your door.
“Nowadays, people are after convenience. In transportation, we have Uber and Grab. In communication, Viber, Facebook Messenger, Skype, and other messaging apps. In online retail, we have a lot of players. Majority are fashion eshop, but the beauty category in online retail has not been explored that much yet. This is where we come in,” says Paul Dimafelix, Founder and Managing Director of Saladbox.
When I first heard of it, I immediately thought that Saladbox was a really good idea! It’s an essential for everyone, because we can’t just rely on the testers in the malls to see whether a brand is a good fit for us. Sometimes, I stop using a certain product after a week of use, because it is only then when I realize it’s not a match. (Who has the same problem? Show of hands, please!) It’s such a waste to stop using the product after only using it for awhile, but we can’t help it if we’re not hiyang to it, right? But with Saladbox’s samples, you can try the products well beyond the tester amount, and at the comfort of your own home!
Now, with the Saladbox Shop, you don’t have to leave the website to buy the actual items of the samples you liked from your Saladbox.
What’s in the shop? Saladbox will be offering global brands such as Glamglow, Victoria’s Secret, Ciate, Lioele, Otaa, and up-and-coming local brands Lipmate, Rraw, Farmstay and so much more!
Let’s #ShopAtSaladbox tonight! I’m getting a box for myself, what about you? 😉
