Taste the new flavor of online shopping!
Malls are ingrained into the Filipino culture whether we like it or not. Sundays aka “family days” are usually spent at the mall… and for a good reason. Ate wants to have her hair done, Mom needs to buy groceries, Kuya wants to watch movies, Dad needs to buy new pants — the mall has something for everyone, and like one popular mall’s slogan, they’ve got it all for you!
Enter online shopping. Now it’s so convenient, you can literally shop 24/7 from the comfort of your own home, and just wait for the package to come to you.
Personally, online shopping was not a good thing for my budgeting though, because whilst my pre-online-shopping-era shopping would only be on days when I would go to the mall (which would be once a week at most), now I shop almost every day with ads popping left and right when I go online to buy those mules I’ve left on my shopping cart. But I have learned self-control. I hope.
“Filipinos are not new to online shopping. In fact, we have been very receptive to the convenience it brings that 9 out of 10 Filipinos already choose to do their shopping online,” says Walt Young, the CEO of Adobomall.com.
But despite the convenience online shopping has given us, it is still not a perfect scheme, and Adobomall aims to be that game-changer.
But what makes Adobomall different? What’s new about its flavor?
Adobomall fuses the physical-mall experience and the simplicity of online shopping.
“Adobomall is the first in the country to offer Filipinos with Real Online Shopping experience – no resellers, no fake accounts, all products are guaranteed to be 100% authentic, delivery period takes less than one week, and we have a visual storefront where you can go directly to the brand that you are looking for without the nuisance of other items you don’t need. Now that’s the experience that Filipinos deserve,” Young proudly said.
Since Adobomall is directly connected to these brands, you don’t have to be scared of accidentally purchasing something more expensive online, because if the brand item goes on sale, the online price also follows! Just like the mall, right?
From clothing and apparel, beauty products, sporting gears, gadgets, home & living, tools and equipment, and even F&B — Adobomall has it all.
Currently it houses amazing brands such as Brooks, Mizuno, Wilson, Lotto, TYR, Folded & Hung, American Tourister, High Sierra, Kamiliant, The Aivee Clinic, Flawless, Aqua Mineral, and Botanifique, and many more are coming to be a part of the Adobomall family.
So why is it called “Adobomall”? I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one wondering. Walt says he chose the name Adobo, because there is no Adobo anywhere in the world, except here in the Philippines. Walt branded Adobomall with the aim of making the Philippines stand out internationally, as he plans to expand Adobomall throughout the world. Even the traditional “my shopping cart” you see on most online shops is replaced with “my bayong”. Because a bayong is what us Filipinos use in shopping, and is therefore the very apt concept for Adobomall’s logo.
Adobomall.com clearly does not help with my shopaholic situation (LOL), but it sure does make shopping a lot easier.
Maybe I can buy just one little thing… after all, #LoveLocal, right?
